How did 'Overflowing Taza' Begin?

'Overflowing Taza' is a phrase coming from the verse Psalm 23:5. Overflow is talking about how the Lord pours so much into a person it overflows so anything around that person will also be covered. Taza is Spanish for mug or cup. Much of Anna's ministry has been through a connection as a barista and her love for coffee. It is through the relationships built that the overflowing love of the Lord was shared through her story and life.

My Story

I was saved at a young age, and have always had a heart for missions. During college I worked my home church developing ministry skills, studying under my pastor preparing to enter the mission field. After graduating from The King’s University, I lived in Puerto Rico for four months working with the Foursquare missionaries there. Through that experience I realized I wanted to work with Foursquare full time. I am now a foursquare missionary who will be serving in Lima, Peru for three years, and am currently pursuing becoming a credentialed pastor with them.

My heart is to reach people through coffee by allowing the cup to be more than just a bean, but a door to conversation, discipleship, and community. Providing an overflow of God’s love and compassion through my actions.

I love to meet people and learn about different cultures. My favorite part of traveling is learning the history of a place. I have been a barista for six years, and love trying new coffees and finding coffee shops where ever I am traveling. I also enjoy reading, writing, and going to the cinema.
